I was formally the managing director of Island Records, one of the coolest labels in the world. My other love was art, and I decided to combine my two loves, art and music into a new form of expression: Augmentism. I first partnered with painter Scarlett Raven and together we created a touring exhibition of World War 1 themed paintings called ‘The Danger Tree’. It toured the UK and was exhibited in a number of national museums including London’s National Army Museum. It made people weep.
