Our story

It started in Vienna, in 2017

Sergiu Ardelean and Codin Popescu founded Artivive on one idea: a painting can show more than fits on the canvas. Hold up a phone, and the work comes to life, reveals its process or opens into a new scene.

Back then, AR meant hiring developers. With the Artivive Bridge editor, an artist uploads an image and an overlay and is live in minutes, with no code.

Today more than 750,000 creators in 190 countries use it, from independent illustrators to the world’s most visited museums.
