Have you given yourself a chance to stop and think about the importance of sharing in our lives?
The German Catholic Convention (Katholikentag) invites us to reflect on that. As part of the 102nd Catholic Day in Stuttgart, Germany, on May 29, 2022, the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart is looking for creative minds to join this open call.
This call is for artists all over the world. Creators should be able to submit concepts around the topic of “Sharing Life” for up to three of the personas listed below. The authors must indicate their preference, as they will only work with one of them.
With 60k visitors in the last edition at Münster, Germany, this renowned event will host several thousand participants from all ages throughout Germany and worldwide in a vibrant and alive exchange of ideas, prayers, and celebrations.
Do not miss out on the opportunity to be part of this program, which brings together everyone in a cheerful atmosphere to experience collective belief, shape the future, and regain one’s strength.
Sharing is a great challenge of our time:
a lesson we can take from Martin of Tours, bishop of Torus who lived in the 4th century and once gave his coat as a gift to a freezing beggar.
Respectful interaction with one another:
215,000 Catholics with a mother tongue other than German live in the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. They are a testimony to the diversity of our global and intercultural Christian community.
Only together we can work for a better future:
A partnership is an attitude of mutual giving and taking.
Human beings must live in harmony with animals and plants:
we need to nurture and care for the Earth instead of exploiting it.
Lead young people to a lived faith to responsibly shape the world:
Catholic Schools’ mission in the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart is to strengthen children.
