Her augmented reality collaborations with visual artists have recently been exhibited on Toronto’s Waterfront (Love Letters, 2021) and Karachi Biennale (Water Wars, 2022), and on the moon (Translunar Formations, 2023).
Karen is the founding Artistic Director of Never Gallery Ready, an award-winning non-profit that helps young people understand media by making it with them.
When she’s not working directly with young people to foster digital literacy and creative play, she’s expanding conversations about the role of media technology through producing the #WeMakeMedia podcast, currently interviewing women XR creators.
